THE SECOND SHE.... vs WHEN

Could you please tell me which you'd say and if they are correct?



-The second she writes me I’ll know she’s in the train./when she writes me Ill know she’s in the train.

- The second I’m about to leave work, I’m no longer sleepy.

-When/by the time you get home, I’ll have one more hour of work.

- When/What date is your train tickets for?

-He manages to do his work even when he's tired.
