The Scarlet Ibis and The Necklace comparison help. (Please Help!)

Hi,

I need to write an essay on comparring and contrasting The Scarlet Ibis and The Necklace using literary elements. For comparing I'm thinking about foreshadowing and I need three examples. For scarlet ibis I have the ibis dying, and the mom saying it's bad luck. Thats about all the foreshadowing in both stories I can think of. I need alot more. Please Help!!

In both, pride is the antagonist. It is why Brother made Doodle do actions that were harmul for his health, that made him enevitably die, and why Mme. Loisel wanted the necklace, which she worked so hard to replace, even though it was fake
