the -s in third person, present simple.

hello Again:

My question is related to the -s in third person, present simple:

We know we have to add a -s to a verb with third person in simple present tense:

e.g. He walks, he eats, she works, it runs..etc. etc.

but the question is:

In which cases we donot have to add -s to a verb.

is it correct to write?: God say or God sayS...

you know what I mean!!!!!!!!!

thank you in advance!!!!!

I'd say: "*** sayS..."

All verbs in the third person simple present end in "s".

How about subjunctive mood?

some formulaic subjunctives:

Heaven forbid, *** bless you, *** save the King, truth be told, etc.
