The right person

Hello,

can you please tell me whether this sentence is well worded?

"If you are not dealing with this type/sort of issues, could you forward me to the right person?"

Besides, I don't know if this sentence sounds polite enough Emotion: sad

Thank you

right person is okay, as far as I'm concerned. Proper might be a little more polite. But I would say refer rather than forward .

My recommendation:

If you don't deal with this sort of issue, could you kindly direct me to the right person?

You can substitute 'please' for 'kindly' if you like it better that way. Also, as Philip has already mentioned, you can substitute 'refer' for 'direct'.
