The Revenant

Today I have watched a movie called 'The Revenant' by Alejandro González Iñárritu. In the movie, the nature was reflected rather harsh and hostile (e.g. the unsettled wilderness of the northern Louisiana Purchase) so were the human characteristics. (for example, Fitzgerald who is hostile towards Glass's half-native son Hawk) So I find a close relationship between the world we live in today and the film. So does this sound natural?

''In a way, everywhere is northern Louisiana Purchase, and everyone is John Fitzgerald, a trapper who kills Glass's son Hawk.''

PS The movie takes place in the Northern Louisiana Purchase.
