'Images are projected onto the retina of the eye.'

I'm not sure of whether the retina of the eye means the retina of one eye or not.

Hi It's an interesting question. If he was punched in the eye, you would expect that to be just one eye. If he receives images at the retina of the eye, that's a general description, and it means both of his eyes, I'd definitely say Dave
