The Renaissance, what about my composition?

Hello there!

After easter holiday I'll have an oral, I've chosen to talk about the renaissance, could you correct it and say what do you think about?
Thank you!

Today I'll talk about the Renaissance, I've chosen this topic because we've just studied it both in history and in art then I want to try to explain it.
I'm not very good at History, and I do not like it, but this historic period has impressed even me, in fact I've managed to get my first good mark in this subject.
Anyway, the renaissance is a cultural and artistic movement that took place roughly from the fourteenth to the seventeenth century, beginning in Florence and later spreading to the rest of Europe.
In that period there have been several changes, and the way of thinking is certain one of the most important.
Although previously people were used to relying the church, the renaissance carried new points of view that somehow involved a detachment from the faith;
That was the main step towards the birth of a new era, where people didn't care wholly about what religion imposed.
The development of science and knowledge improved living conditions, establishing a well-being and stability situation.
If that period there hadn't been we wouldn't have had a lot of things that we have nowadays, like scientific documents which have helped us to get ahead in many areas.
Writing study has allowed to find out a critical method that didn't exist before, actuating a reaction that carried people's curiosity.
Renaissance and humanism are closely connected, the difference between them is that the renaissance is meant to be the time of cultural development, while the humanism the one where people's curiosity spread most, and where the overestimation of the religion ended because they gave more importance to life and to human in general.
The man who represents best both of the periods is Leonardo da Vinci, in fact he's considered an eclectic man, it means that he was interested In many things.
The most part of us consider him just like A painter, but he was a scientist, a musician and an architect.
He was especially interested in flight, in fact he made several projects on it, like the glider or the united wing.
Moreover many of his artworks attest the cultural growth of the Renaissance.
Johann Guttenberg was another important man of that period, in fact he was the one who invented the printing, that invention spread fast, and the first published work was the bible.
The first crisis of Renaissance dates back to Lorenzo de Medici's dead, in fact when Girolamo Savonarola took his place the well-being situation that Lorenzo had created broke.
To conclude the end of the renaissance is supposed to be on the 6th may of 1572.
