Please consider the following sentence:

The reason why you are SEEING this page is that you are trying to access telegraph.co.uk using a bookmark or
link which is no longer valid.

My question is this:

Would you please explain the use of "seeing" above? In other words, why is it "seeing" and not "viewing"?
