Which one(s) is right?
Here is my thought:
When I want to tell the friend that I had a thought of buying a new laptop on a unspecific day in the past, is it right to say “I had (once) had some thought of buying a new one”
When I want to tell the friend that I had a thought of buying a new laptop on a unspecific day in the past, is it right to say “I had some thought of buying a new one”
