Can I request your take on the underlined parts? Would you say that they are interchangeable in everyday conversation? (I have learned through my grammar books that only the first sentence is correct, but, as you know, books are only human!)

Do I need a comma after this? The question is Not in #1. Not in #2 unless you want to start making it sound like a direct question.
