I am writing technical documentation on a software package and am confused on the proper use of “in” and “on.” There is a form to be used for data entry. Should I write “On the header section enter your name” or “In the header section enter your name?” Thank you to all who respond. I appreciate having this forum available. Dan in the Atlanta area
