Do you really think that there is a meaning difference between them?
1)Thank God it is Friday!! VS. Thank God, it is Friday!!
2)The problem is that I have no money. VS. The problem is, I have no money.
I have been searching for the explicit difference between them, but I have just found the form without a comma of the sentence, 'Thank God (that) it is Friday!!' more natural and more used among native English speakers.
And In #2, either way is fine and the meaning is the same, according to Longman Dictionary. Sorry about taking your time a lot and not being smart about it, but I really would like to hear from more teachers. Please help me out of this confusion. Thank you so much as always and have a good day.
