The present tense or the present progressive tense

Hello everyone. I have a question.

Which sounds more natural of the following two sentences? --

(A) We have a lot of chicken these days.
(B) We are having a lot of chicken these days.

I'm thinking of a situation where a family changed their diet and has formed a new habit, but they doubt if the habit will last long.

Both are possible, but in your specific situation I would choose (B).
