The present perfect or the present perfect progressive

(a) How long have you worked here?
(b) How long have you been working here?

Which of these two sentences is more natural when you ask someone how many years, months etc. have passed since they started working for the company? Plus, is there any better way to express this?

They are both fine. I couldn't say that one is more natural than the other.
