The Present Perfect again

Why we use the PP when we talk about broken leg when it is still broken and we do not use it when we talk about our newly painted room (which is still painted - naturally).

1.

-What is up man?

- As you can see I have broken my leg.

2.

- Nice colours.

- Yeah, a friend of mine painted my room.

Is here any essencial grammatical difference?

Voytaszek Is here any essential grammatical difference? It is a semantic difference: in the first, an experience is announced; the second is a simple statement of a past action. Depending on context, the verb forms could easily be interchanged between your two sentences.

But how we use the PP acording to things we did in the past and which are still relevant in the present?

We can not say;

I have become a teacher. (When it was happened lets say a years ago and I am still a teacher).

But we say;

I have broken my leg. (Even if it was broken 5 months ago because it is still broken).

Why?

Sorry, but I do not
