Which way of writing is correct (or more common)?


(a) A famous British rock singer Sting has introduced some Indigenous people at his concerts.

(b) A famous British rock singer, Sting, has introduced some Indigenous people at his concerts.

Sentence (b) is right, but the meaning is strange. It is hard to see why you would mention that some British singer has done that. If you made it "Sting, a famous British rock singer, has introduced some Indigenous people at his concerts.", it would make more sense. It is not hard to see why you would mention
