The preposition before " the next stage/step"

If I want to describe a stage in a process, what is the preposition before "the next stage"? At, in, or during?

For example:

At the next stage, the strained mixture becomes frozen liquid

And what should I use, "on the next step" and "in the next step"?

Top answer

Red Moon At the next stage, the strained mixture becomes frozen liquid It looks fine to me just as it is except it needs a period at the end (and I would remove the comma). CJ
