The position of "not"

1. I can use the inversion of normal word order, but not in a simple structure.
2. I can use the inversion of normal word order not in a simple structure.

I'd like to know whether I can use both #1 and #2.

This is not a common or everyday structure. If this was written by an educated native English writer then it is a literary or poetic sentence. Your sentence is too unpoetic in its content, and the first part is too long, for this structure to be viable.
