The Position of Meanwhile

As I have been taught, "Meanwhile" always comes in the beginning of a sentence and followed by a subject, but I saw a sentence somewhere on web is "Julie has meanwhile found herself another dance partner." Is the sentence gramatically correct?

My another question is, could Meanwhile be used in the end of the sentence? Where should I put Meanwhile in interrogative sentences?

And my last question concerned to this topic is, "are Meanwhile and Meantime interchangeable?"
