Essay & Composition Writing

The plans below show a student accommodation buildings 2010 and now. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant You should write at least 150 words.

The given diagram illustrates the student hostel from 2010 until now.

It can be clearly seen from the picture that there has been a slight change in the design of the building. A large area of garden has been removed to make room for other functional rooms like student-bedrooms or parking lot.

In 2010, the garden comprised a notable percent but now it has been narrowed down and turned into students' room and the other side has been utilised to be a place to park cars. An en-suite room is built beside the student- bedroom which is located at the end of the hallway .The kitchen has turned out to be a spot not only where the cooking process and dining happen but also for students to assemble and socialize.

The number of bedroom for students is also expanded from three to five ones. A piece of the remained garden and the only living room are restructured to build student- bedrooms. The garden currently counts for little and the rest of vacant land at the corner has been merged into the garden.
