The supplied charts illustrate the proportion of people’s means of studying English in two different countries from 2010 to 2015.
Overall, attending in evening classes was opted by the majority of English learners of country A in both years examined and that of country B in 2010. Moreover, two countries saw similar datas of three options in 2010 and a significant increase in people learning English online can be seen in country B.
70% of people in country A joined evening classes in 2010, compared to the figures for online classes and studying abroad (at only 5% and 25% relatively). Country B also shared comparable portions in that year, with respective figures being 72%, 8% and 20%.
The proportion in country A saw very marginal changes in 5 years later, with the figure for English online courses increased by 5%, and that of evening classes and studying in other countries declined slightly to 67% and 23%. Conversely, in 2015, country B witnessed a considerable rise in the portion of learners choosing to study online to 32%. As a result, datas for evening classes taken dropped to 48%. However, the figure for people choosing to study abroad in this country was at the exact percentage as 5 years ago.
