The phone call answering rate?

At a helpdesk, you receive phone calls. And you answer them.

I need the percentage of these: 1 answer for 1 phone call would be 100%, if so, you're a good helpdesk operator. We want to know how many phone calls are picked up by our operators.

This would depend on what you're trying to track. If the operator answers every call, then it's simple (US usage): he's answering 100% of calls. If after answering, the operator gives a satisfactory answer to, say, half of the calls, then you might say: he has a 50% satisfaction rate.

It's not good for us to have unanswered calls. We don't know what kind of things our operators are speaking!
