The pearl

Can we exchange hearts?
I'll take yours for a trip
to a world full of feelings
to a sea full of fish
I'll have it swim
I'll have it swing
with the flow of the tides
it will itself free from
the worries of the night
from the peace of lost time
and when I wrap it warm
in the most beautiful silver towel
under the restless blue sky
You'll discover a white pearl
hidden inside your mind.
Where will you take mine?

It just came out like that. Can someone help me improve it?

I love this poem!
I cannot help but read it over and over.
It has somehow struck a familiar note somewhere.
Perhaps a long-lost yearning which is as yet unfulfilled?
Whatever it might be-- I find this poem definitely memorable!
Thanx for sharing!
