Hi. I'd like to ask you a question connected with the past simple and the present perfect.
- I've broken his phone or I broke his phone.
- Why have you done it? or Why did you do it?
- I've done it because I was angry at him or I did it because I was angry at him.
I'd choose the present perfect in the first sentence and then I'd get on with using the past simple, but I am not sure.
