The Passive (need help)

I'm from lithuania and we are now learning this subject it's pretty hard , so I need help with one exercise:

Make a passive sentence from the words in brackerts.

1.A.Have they caught the thieves yet?

B. Yes .(two men / arrest / yesterday)

2.A.Did you biuld the garage yourselves?

B.No(the garage / build/ before we moved in)

-----------------------------------------------

3.A.Why is Paul afraid of dogs?

B.(he /bite / a dog / when he was a little boy)

--------------------------------------------

4.A.Sarah is very ill.

B.(she/take/to hospital last night)

----------------------------------------------

5.A.This room is a disgrace

B.(it/ not clean / for weeks)

-----------------------------------------

6.A.Did you know about your suprise party?

B.No. (it / arrange / in secret)

7.A.Are you going to drive to work today?

B.I can't (the car/ not fix / yet)

8.A.Has Tom got a job?

As a general rule, for the passive by using the form of the verb "to be" that is appropriate for the subject and the tense, and then used the past participle.

I caught the fish. The fish [was] caught. - Was because it's third person singular and past.

I am walking dogs. The dogs [are being] walked. Are being because it's third person plural, and present continuous.

1.Two men were arrested yesterday

2.The garage had been built before we moved in

3. he was bitten by a dog when he was a little boy

4.she was taken to hospital last night

5.it hadn't been cleaned for weeks

6.It had been arranged in secret

7.the car hadn'

No mistakes in your construction of the passive.

(Where are my mistakes?)

Just remember to start with a capital letter and end with a period.

Sorry, sentence 7 needs the same sort of change as sentence 5. Sentence 2 has two correct options:

1.Two men were arrested yesterday. OK

2.The garage had been built before we moved in. OK -- The passive form of the simple past tense (was built) would also be OK bec

I used present perfect passive here subject + has been + past participle , it just has been in negetive hasn't been , or I'm wrong?

You originally used the past perfect passive in sentences 5 and 7.
