Hi! I have got a question concerning the passive. I hope you can help.

They can solve the problem without help.

The problem can be solved by them without help.
or
The problem can be solved without help by them.

Which of the two is correct, maybe both?

There's little point in using the passive if you say who did the action. I opend the box. The box was opened.
