Has anyone seen this film ? Any comments ?

I've seen it and as a whole was very impressed by it. There were several things however, that really made me like it . . .

*The acting (Jim Caviezel is nothing short of superb)
*The obvious (in my mind) supernatural corroboration with the film
*The way Christ's suffering is depicted in such a real and vivid form making it very clear that he suffered terribly on behalf of mankind and mankind's fate.
*How it is clearly shown just why Jesus did die and what He died for.
*How Christ's power is shown to be that much greater than the power of death (i.e. Satan)

*Another reason why I liked the movie so much is because I know the actor that plays Jesus Christ personally (Jim Caviezel) and was in another movie that he starred in (this movie will be coming out this spring, but I will not mention the name in case that will be taken as an advertisement of some sort).

If this post has in any way offended someone, I am very sorry. But you must know that I am a Christian and believe the scriptural account of Jesus Christ (as well as the rest of the Bible in it's ENTIRETY!) and as such am proud to see a movie of this caliber made that depicts the most important story of all time!! This is my belief and I am by no means pushing it on someone else, I merely added this end paragraph because I wanted people to know that I do not mean to offend, rather to only post my opinions (which can be regarded or diregarded quite easily by anyone.

Another reason I think worth to be mentioned is Mel Gibson, the director, producer and co-writer of the movie.

The scene that Christ is being flagellated and insulted is very afflictive to me. Jesus Christ is so great to bear all these. Although I'm not so devotional on my belief, I'm deeply moved by this movie.

Mel Gibson also produced the blockbuster "Braveheart" while managing to starr in it as well as William Wallace.

i just felt this movie was too ******, and after watching this film, i felt uncomfortable. i felt compassion to those ignorant people. and i really think that the christ is strongminded
