*The acting (Jim Caviezel is nothing short of superb) *The obvious (in my mind) supernatural corroboration with the film *The way Christ's suffering is depicted in such a real and vivid form making it very clear that he suffered terribly on behalf of mankind and mankind's fate.
*How it is clearly shown just why Jesus did die and what He died for.

Another reason I think worth to be mentioned is Mel Gibson, the director, producer and co-writer of the movie.
The scene that Christ is being flagellated and insulted is very afflictive to me. Jesus Christ is so great to bear all these. Although I'm not so devotional on my belief, I'm deeply moved by this movie.
i just felt this movie was too ******, and after watching this film, i felt uncomfortable. i felt compassion to those ignorant people. and i really think that the christ is strongminded
