The paleness of a pilot is the color of a storm.

Hi

I read this quote in one of my magazines. I think it is just a superficial quote/saying and does not carry any deep meaning? What is your take on it?

The paleness of a pilot is the color of a storm.

Thanks,

Tom

It is not supposed to carry deep meaning; it is a literary conceit.
