Grammar

"The page is not displaying properly in firefox" or "The page is not displaying properly on firefox"

1- The page is not displaying properly in firefox.

2- The page is not displaying properly on firefox.

Which is correct? And why?

Following the rules of grammar, I believe sentence 1 is most correct. Firefox is an object that CONTAINS the page, so I think the page is IN firefox.

Thanks!

Hi,

1- The page is not displaying properly in Firefox.

2- The page is not displaying properly on Firefox.

Which is correct? And why? I hear both, but more often 'in' for a software reference like this. It's really just a matter of what is idiomatic.
