The others and the rest?

Hi. Let's say there is 1 person who's supposed to do "this," whatever that might be, and 99 people who're supposed to do "that," also whatever that might be. Now, are these correct for that context? Thank you in advance for your help.

1. One does this and the others do that.

2. One does this and the rest do that.

3. One does this and the rest of them do that.
