the other

Let's say there are 3 rooms in a building and you are in one of them. Would you say,

Did you see the girl in [the other room/another] room, the one in a red dress?

I feel that it's OK to use 'the other' in this scenario though there are more than two rooms. Another room just sounds weird.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, "the other room" is ok, it doesn't matter how many rooms there are. What's important is that what "the other room" is has to be understood. " Another can have several meanings, and I would say it doesn't make sense in your example, unless you want to change the meaning (that is, it would make sense in another context, not that one).
