The origin and history of English

I would like to get the necessary information that answer the following questions:
Who conquered England between 1050 and 1080 ac?
Which language did the conquerors speak?
Who was the main person responsible in developing the new English language?
Which was the official language for the written texts in that time?
Which languages were mixed in order to develop and improve the new English language?
