The or a Christian?

Hi. I believe the following quote is what the famous radio preacher Vance Havner said:

"Happy is the Christian who has never met a theologian."

Now, what's the difference between "the Christian" and "a Christian" after the verb "is" in the above quote?

Thank you in advance for your help.

"Now, what's the difference between "the Christian" and "a Christian" after the verb "is" in the above quote? Nothing. It is just a matter of whether the writer senses before writing the article that a defining clause will follow it.
