Both B and C seems fine to me. I think both of them are correct.

The question is a poor one. "Unique" is lame there. But aside from that, it would have to be "a" if only because that's what people say when they use "unique" lamely like that. You might think it has to be "the" because "unique" means there is only one, but there you have it.
