The opposite of "to vote down" / "to be voted down"
Hi all,
In the negative sense, we say "the bill was voted down" --> never became a law, never came into force.
Wanting to say the opposite, do we just say "the bill was voted"? Or, maybe, there is a phrasal verb (structured on "vote") that can / would rather be used in that sense?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
K
