The one with money!

Hello everyone, can I say to someone who is rich,
"Don't expect me to pay this bill - you are the one with money!"

Or is "the one with THE money"?

Or either correct? Thanks.

They are both OK. Most naturally I would say "the money". You have typed a hyphen but properly you need a dash.

Thank you. I didn't know there was a difference between a hyphen and a dash. But now I do! Thank you.

How is a hyphen different from a dash appearance wise?

Didn't she type a dash ?

Thank you.

Hi

I have to say, my keyboard only has one '-' key and that's the one I use - is there really a need for another one?

It would certainly be handy in order to make dashes easier to type. The fact that they are traditionally a nuisance to type on PC keyboards has probably contributed to a general lack of understanding that there is a difference.
