The one who has to

Thank you.
a. I am the one who has to thank you!
b. I have to thank you.


Are the sentences (a) and (b) acceptable here? They are supposed to mean: You shouldn't thank me. I should thank you.

Both are grammatical, but the latter is quite vague. The former is clear enough, in my opinion. azz You shouldn't thank me.
