The number of spaces between sentances.
Which is correct: to put one space between sentances or two spaces? Example:
Sheila doesn't like tomatoes on her sandwich. She prefers lettuce, pickle, onion, and mayo.
or
Sheila doesn't like tomatoes on her sandwich. She prefers lettuce, pickle, onion, and mayo.

I always put two. I learned it that way in typing class some years ago. I like it that way.

I always put two. I learned it that way in typing class some years ago. I like it that way.

I always put two as well, because that's how I was taught. It's very difficult for me to put just one. However, now with the computers and their ability to "justify" the margins, we may find one, two or even three spaces automatically, out of our control. "Cyber-Big-Brother-in-charge-of-spaces-between-sentences" is on duty 24/7.
