THE NEXT or Next
I can't figure out some subtleties in regards to NEXT and THE NEXT
It is right to say
1) She is going there next year. (without the)
What does this sentence mean with THE
2) She stayed in bed the whole of Sunday and THE next day she was well again.
Why do we use THE NEXT here?
