The New Paper vs the new paper

The name of the newspaper is the new paper. But when the name is used in a report in the newspaper, it is The New Paper.

What is the reason for the capitalised name instead of the original name in lower case?

Thanks

Kelly Tan What is the reason for the capitalised name instead of the original name in lower case? Someone has not made it clear to the journalists that the title is actually supposed to be in lower case. The standard for titles for at least the past 300 years has been to capitalize them, so some kind of education process is required in order to inform writers that you are breaking with a centuries-old tradition.

Thank you CJ.

So, the title on the front page of the newspaper is wrong. It should be The New Paper and not the new paper.
In their reports they used The New Paper when referring to the newspaper. That means they make another mistake. Am I right?
