the most scary/ scariest experiences

Sarah said losing her passport was one of the scariest/most scary experinces she ever had.

My non-native ears tell me that both superlative forms of scary sound equally fantastic, but I need your confirmation. Thanks.

i'd go with the scariest as it's generally, in fact commonly used by the people. waiting for the confirmation of the gurus

'Scary' is now in the dictionary, but some years ago it wasn't. Other words, like 'frightening', were considered the correct words.
