"the most idle" or "the idlest"?

Hi,

Is it idle -> idler -> the idlest or idle -> more idle -> the most idle?

Thanks!

With most 2-syllable adjective and adverbs you have a choice of comparative/superlative forms. Much depends on the word flow and style within the context.

I agree with MM 100%. When I am unsure, though, I go to the dictionary...which, in this case, says to use "...er" "...est"
