'Finished', in both cases.
In a few contexts, 'done'.

And it is the same with dinner/supper, etc isn't it? With the exception that made can be used here, right? The dinner/supper/breakfast was finished/done/made.

If you are talking about meal preparation.
eg Mary cooked dinner.

As far as I know, 'Dinner was done' also means that somebody has finished eating. Do you agree with it? Yes, but passive sounds clumsy to me here. Hmmm, maybe the green sentence above can have this meaning too; She stopped eating halfway through the meal
