Either one or two. The first two have essentially the same meaning. The third sentence has an unnecessary definite article ("the").

  • Either one or two.
  • The first two have essentially the same meaning.
  • The third sentence has an unnecessary definite article ("the").
  • This is wrong because you are speaking generally, about "most people", not specifically about a given group of people.
  • You could say "in my country, the richest people use cars", or "the most intelligent people use cars", but not "most people use cars".
