The more..+the more...

Dear members

The worse the weather is, the more depressed I feel.

The higher your energy level is , the more efficiently your body works."

The sentences above are examples of "the more..., the more..".
Could I use like  below with moving of the underlined words to end of the sentences?

"The worse the weather is, the more I feel depressed.

The higher your energy level is , the more your body works efficiently."

Thanks in advance.

  • mbouti Could I use like below with moving of the underlined words to end of the sentences?
  • "The worse the weather is, the more I feel depressed.
  • The higher your energy level is, the more your body works efficiently.
  • Yes, but with varied success.
  • In these two cases, the first one sounds better than the second because there are fewer words between the normal position of "depressed" and the new position you put it in.
