The Moon Walked With Me

She was walking with me
As the moon does with the stars
The fog did not allow us to see
The brightness in each other’s eyes

Looking at the full moon in the sky
I looked aside slyly at her face
And thought that this is why
I compare her to the moon.

She had the angelic beauty
with a remarkable smile.
A smile peeped into my eyes
As I thought that this angel was mine.
And I resumed walking with the night
With her hand looped in mine.

That's what I said.. That I have writting for almost 10 to 12 years now but haven't improved much as initially I wrote only love poems... atypical greeting cards stuff. Btw, I'm young at heart, forever.
