The mobile was scribble/awkwardly used by the child

The mobile was ........_______... by the child a while ago so it's not working now. You should not have given it to him.

He hardly know anything about the machine, but still he is ......_____.... on it as if he knows everything. I'm afraid if it's(the machine) going to break down.

My computer is not working now. It stucks/freezes in every few hours. I guess it's because the peon who doesn't know anything about computer early in the morning was sitting here and ........_____............ on the PC (using mouse and keyboard.)

Please correct the sentences and fill up the blank with an appropriate word which could mean "to do an act like (awkwardly or scribble or something which fits in this context)

Very casually: "The kid somehow got hold of my mobile and turned it on, and really messed it up on me!"

For the computer, I'd suggest "crashes," or "freezes up."

I think some guy was sitting here earlier just playing around / fooling around with my computer. (doodling on it?)

In the first sentence, you have written "messed it up on me". I wonder what it means. I know mess it up means to spoil something but what is "mess it up on me".

Similarly, can I say "Please don't allow him to operate the machine as he doesn't know to operate it and he may just fool around on it/mess it up".
