So-called ‘revenge porn’ happens everywhere. But across parts of North Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia, photos shared on smartphones and social media have collided head on with traditional ideas about honour and shame, often with a devastating effect on people's lives.
Why have they used "the" before Middle East and not before the surrounding nouns?
