The medicine is in the cupboard

Can one say:
1-The medicine is in the cupboard to cure your cough.
instead of:
1a-The medicine to cure your cough is in the cupboard.

Can one say:
2-The key is on the shelf to open the main gate.
instead of:
2a-The key to open the main gatge is on the shelf.

3-The food is here to give to the cat.
instead of:
3a-The food to give to the cat is here.

I think 3 is correct but has a different meaning. I think it means: The purpose of the food's being here is that it should be given to the cat.
