The meaning of the sentence.

I saw this in a novel 'where you belong' by Barbara Taylor Bradford.

"Don't really me in that tone, or use the word ungrateful."

I don't really get the meaning of this sentence. Please explain it to me.

There is a mistake in the sentence. There should be a verb in the place of "really." I don't know what it should be.

The speaker is conveying the message "Don't use the word 'really' to me in that tone of voice ..." Had I written the original sentence, I would have italicised really.
